Sanat Pai Raikar is a quizzer and quizmaster who formerly led his college team on BBC World’s University Challenge hosted by Siddhartha Basu. He is the author of the definitive article ‘Quiz’ in the Encyclopaedia Britannica. His crosswords have been published by Encyclopaedia Britannica, Gulf News and Business Goa.
His first quiz book, Three’s a Quiz, was written entirely from memory, and is not just a question bank, but also a journal of the most memorable questions from Sanat’s 20+ years of quizzing.
Sanat is a triathlete and marathoner, and comes up with the 5 daily questions during his workouts every day.
